Visual Verbal Journals
Journals are where artists hone their skills and practice with new mediums. For both the 2D and 3D artist, a journal is a place for research and for personal reflections. The goal is for each artist to begin to create a personal voice.
The difference between a 2D and 3D journal is a 3D journal should have more emphasis on research and planning than on drawing and painting techniques. Both types of journals should explore principles of design.
